When you work with us, you know that the first step to becoming FutureWise is to set up your Testing Timeline.
If you’re like most students, we’d recommend you take the SAT or ACT during your Junior Year. But there are still so many options in terms of testing dates! We’re here to help you identify which time of year it would be most beneficial to do your test prep.
There are many different variables that need to be taken into consideration when establishing your testing timeline, but in general, there are three tracks to success that we recommend:
Fall Test Dates
If your Summer schedule is light and your math skills are sound, your ideal option is to prep for the early Fall test administrations. This plan means you’re done with all your testing before Winter Break and you have time to focus on other things the rest of the year.
Winter Test Dates
If you have a busy Summer schedule or are spending it traveling, then perhaps beginning your prep in the Fall, when school begins, is ideal for you! You’ll need to balance schoolwork with test prep, but you’ll still be done prepping before Spring!
Spring Test Dates
This option is the last resort, if your summer is busy and perhaps you play a Fall sport, then you may wish to hold off doing test preparation until the Spring. This tends to be the most difficult for students to balance, but can still be done successfully!
Of course, if you’re unsure of what your ideal timeline for test prep is, the experts at FutureWise can help aim you in the right direction. Just email us at info@FutureWiseConsulting.com for a free consultation. We’re looking forward to hearing from you!
