Jenn is an educational consultant, author, and speaker. As owner of FutureWise Consulting for the past 12 years, she has guided hundreds of high school students from throughout the United States through all aspects of the college admission process. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Honors College at UCLA and her master’s degree in social work from USC, where she was elected to the Phi Kappa Phi honor society and named Dean's Scholar. Jenn earned her College Counseling Certificate from UCLA. She is a member of the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), the Western Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC), and an associate member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA).
Jenn's new book, the best selling The Parent Compass: Navigating Your Teen's Wellness and Academic Journey in Today's Competitive World, was released in September 2020. Jenn speaks to parent organizations and schools about education, college admission, and parenting. She developed a college and career readiness program for first-generation students that has been implemented in a local elementary school for over 8 years. She is the expert college counseling guest contributor for a variety of blogs. In addition, she was the editorial assistant for an academic journal, has edited several books, and coached graduate and doctoral students in developing effective writing skills. Such experience allows her to help her students to grasp all aspects of the college-going process and to develop their own unique voice as they present themselves to colleges.
With her background in mental health treatment and research and experience working with students one-on-one and in group settings, Jenn is well-equipped to assist all students with identifying their unique skills and individual goals.

Jenn resides in San Clemente, California with her husband and two daughters.
